Premier League Preview and Betting Tips: Week 15
Leeds v Bournemouth
Saturday, 3pm. Our prediction: 3-2
Suggested bet: 4+ goals in the match
Two sides in contrasting moods after Leeds’ phenomenal win at Anfield and Bournemouth’s second-half capitulation at home to Spurs. We’re expecting a frantic game with lots of goals.
Man City v Fulham
Saturday, 3pm. Our prediction: 3-1
Suggested bet: Alvarez to score
Erling Haaland’s ankle injury might keep him out of this one but Julian Alvarez proved again in midweek that he’s more than capable of spearheading City’s attack. Fulham have conceded twice as many goals as their opponents.

Nottingham Forest v Brentford
Saturday, 3pm. Our prediction: 1-0
Suggested bet: Under 1.5 goals in the match
Forest really have to target this fixture if they’re to survive in the Premier League, particularly with Brentford struggling to pick up points away from home. Ivan Toney is suspended in a huge boost for the Tricky Trees.
Wolves v Brighton
Saturday, 3pm. Our prediction: 0-2
Suggested bet: 3-fold acca on a Sanchez clean sheet, a Trossard goal, and a yellow card for Ait-Nouri
Diego Costa was brought in to sharpen the Wolves attack but his red card against Brentford means he now won’t play again until Boxing Day. Brighton kickstarted De Zerbi’s tenure last week with a thumping win over Chelsea.
Everton v Leicester
Saturday, 5.30pm. Our prediction: 0-0
Suggested bet: Under 1.5 goals in the match
The four goals Everton have conceded at Goodison Park this season gives them the best home defence in the league. We’re predicting a stalemate here.
Chelsea v Arsenal
Sunday, 12pm. Our prediction: 2-2
Suggested bet: Aubameyang to score first
Defeat for Chelsea could see them drop out of the Europa League places, and a London derby against the league’s best side will raise the stakes inside Stamford Bridge. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang lines up against the club he left in contentious circumstances last season – that’s always worth a punt.

Aston Villa v Man United
Sunday, 2pm. Our prediction: 1-0
Suggested bet: 5+ cards in the match
Will the blessing of a new manager strike twice in three weeks for Villa? It’s remarkable how often it happens, and now that Unai Emery has had a full week of training to organise his Villa squad, we see them edging a feisty contest here.
Southampton v Newcastle
Sunday, 2pm. Our prediction: 0-3
Suggested bet: Guimaraes to have 2+ shots on target
Newcastle are now unbeaten in eight games, scoring 17 and conceding four in that run. They’re having fun too, with new recruits slotting seamlessly into Eddie Howe’s side and existing players finding renewed form. As ever the Saints sit perilously above the relegation zone.
West Ham v Crystal Palace
Sunday, 2pm. Our prediction: 1-1
Suggested bet: Both teams to score
West Ham rested players for their Europa Conference League game on Thursday, so fatigue shouldn’t be a problem going into this one. There’s little to choose between the two sides – one moment of quality will probably settle it.
Tottenham v Liverpool
Sunday, 4.30pm. Our prediction: 0-2
Suggested bet: Over 11.5 corners in the match
Although Tottenham progressed as group winners in the Champions League this week, few who watched the game will be convinced this is a top European side. Injury issues are now mounting for Conte, with Heung-min Son requiring surgery on an eye injury that might keep him out of the World Cup – he joins Kulusevski, Richarlison and Romero on the sidelines. Liverpool meanwhile beat the competition’s team to watch in Napoli, and the Reds will be looking for a response after the defeat to Leeds last time out.
