Premier League Gameweek 25 Preview

After the drama of an FA Cup fourth round weekend it’s back to Premier League action, with some big games to look forward to at both ends of the table.

Focusing on three of Saturday’s 3pm kick-offs from England’s top-flight, we take in action from Craven Cottage, St Mary’s and the Etihad.

Tip 1: Nottingham Forest to beat Fulham

Nottingham Forest have been the success story in the Premier League this season and the Reds can continue their push for a top-four finish when they make the trip to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Saturday.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s have caught the eye with their performances this term and it’s not just been their efforts at the City Ground that have helped them climb to third place in the standings with the business end of the campaign on the horizon.

Forest have won four of their last five Premier League away games as they prepare to make the trip to west London to face a Cottagers side who have failed to win any of their last five home outings in the league.

Considering how Marco Silva’s side have struggled on their own patch in recent weeks, Forest look to be good value for an away win in the capital on Saturday.

Tip 2: Bournemouth to beat Southampton and both teams to score

Bournemouth are another side who have punching above their weight this season and they too look well-priced for an away win this weekend when they face Southampton at St Mary’s.

Andoni Iraola’s Cherries are undefeated in their last six away games in the Premier League, while Southampton are on a six-game losing streak at home in the top-flight.

The Saints have been enduring a tough time, but they have scored in all of their last four Premier League games and they are likely to get on the scoresheet against the Cherries.

Bournemouth earned a 3-1 win when these sides met earlier this season at the Vitality Stadium and another game in which the Cherries come out on top and Southampton get on the scoresheet might well be on the cards here.

Tip 3: Manchester City v Newcastle United: Erling Haaland and Alexander Isak both to score and Fabian Schar to be booked

Looking at a bet builder that returns odds of around 12/1, Erling Haaland and Alexander Isak are both good value to find the back of the net in Saturday’s showdown between Manchester City and Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium.

Both Scandinavian strikers are enjoying impressive individual seasons, with the pair scoring 35 Premier League goals between them in the competition so far.

Both Haaland and Isak to score forms two-thirds of this bet builder, while backing Fabian Schar to be booked completes this threefold.

The Newcastle centre-back has been cautioned in both of the last two meetings between these sides and the Toon defender’s habit of earning yellows against the Citizens might well continue this weekend
