There is another round of Premier League matches this weekend, starting with Brighton’s trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, concluding with Chelsea hosting West Ham United on Monday night.
Perhaps the most attractive fixture of the weekend is Manchester City’s visit to Arsenal on Sunday. City have emerged well from a long slump, but Arsenal have been consistently getting results and will start the match as clear favourites.
Over 3.5 goals in Bournemouth v Liverpool:
The 23/20 about there being four or more goals when Liverpool visit Bournemouth seems well worth considering. The league leaders will almost certainly arrive with positive intent, while Bournemouth have been scoring goals for fun in recent weeks.
The Cherries scored five when beating West Brom in the FA Cup, before putting two past Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, notching four against Newcastle at St James’ Park, then walloping Nottingham Forest 5-0 last time out.
Bournemouth, who have gone 12 games unbeaten in all competitions, can trouble the Liverpool defence. Arne Slot’s side will expect to score plenty themselves, though, as they have notched 30 times away from home in the league this term, with at least one goal in every away game.
Liverpool lost 3-2 to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday night. The Reds have gone three games without a clean sheet and that streak can be expected to continue at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

Under 2.5 goals in Wolves v Aston Villa:
Aston Villa’s Wednesday-night Champions League victory over Celtic may be masking the cracks in a squad which is creaking under the pressure of a busy schedule. Jhon Duran appears to have left the club, while Arsenal are stalking Villa’s star striker Ollie Watkins.
With Villa perhaps lacking sparkle after their midweek exertions – and seemingly balancing the books by selling top-class talent – the visitors may fail to justify the odds for their Saturday-night trip to Wolves. This could be a duller contest than many are anticipating, and taking the odds-against about there being two goals or fewer in the game could prove a smart move.
Under 2.5 goals can be backed at 23/20 with talkSPORT BET. It seems far from certain that Villa will get among the goals, while Wolves have scored only 14 times in 11 home games this term, scoring only one goal in their last four league matches.
Arsenal to win 3-0 v Manchester City:
Arsenal have been in excellent form of late, particularly defensively, and there seems every chance that they will manage to keep a clean sheet against Manchester City on Sunday.
Arsenal rarely give away cheap goals these days and have gone an incredible 70 matches in all competitions without conceding more than two goals in 90 minutes. Manchester City have enjoyed a mini-revival after a long slump of mediocrity, but a trip to Arsenal is the ultimate domestic test of Pep Guardiola’s squad.
City have been a long way from their brilliant best this season and Sunday appears a wonderful opportunity for Arsenal to rubber-stamp their title credentials with a critical three points. The 17/1 about the Gunners winning 3-0 seems generous.
