Premier League Game week 31 Preview

Premier League Game Week 31 Preview

After a busy midweek of Premier League action, Game Week 31 takes place this weekend, with the first of 10 matches kicking off at 12:30 on Saturday, as Everton welcome Arsenal to Goodison Park (live on TNT Sports 1).

Crystal Palace host Brighton, Wolves travel to Ipswich and West Ham take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, all 15:00 starts on Saturday, with Nottingham Forest facing a tricky trip to Aston Villa later that day at 17:30 (live on Sky Sports).

There are three matches starting at 14:00 on Sunday – these being Brentford v Chelsea, Fulham v Liverpool (live on Sky Sports) and Tottenham v Southampton – while the 16:30 kick-off is the Manchester derby at Old Trafford, live on Sky Sports.

Rounding off Game Week 31 is the 20:00 clash between Championship-bound Leicester and Champions League-chasing Newcastle at the King Power Stadium (live on Sky Sports).

Tip 1: Ipswich v Wolves – Both teams to score @ 4/5 with Betfred

A huge relegation clash takes place at Portman Road on Saturday when 18th-placed Ipswich take on 17th-placed Wolves, with nine points the gap between the pair after they both picked up midweek victories.

Victory for either side would be massive and they are both expected to go for it from the off in Suffolk, increasing the possibility of a free-flowing game that will see plenty of goals.

Both teams to score has landed in nine of Ipswich’s last 10 games in all competitions and also in three of Wolves’ last four away matches in the Premier League.

Tip 2: Crystal Palace v Brighton – Daniel Munoz over 0.5 shots on target @ 13/8 with bet365

FA Cup semi-finalists Crystal Palace face stuttering Brighton at Selhurst Park on Saturday and, given how open the Seagulls have been at the back this season, there could be value in siding with Eagles full-back Daniel Munoz to have a shot on target.

The Colombia international has tested the goalkeeper at least once in five of his last eight appearances and the marauding defender could have the opportunity to hit the target once again.

Tip 3: Manchester United v Manchester City – Bet builder: Omar Marmoush 2+ shots on target, Bruno Fernandes 2+ shots on target & Matheus Nunes to commit 1 or more fouls @ 11/1 with Paddy Power

Bragging rights are at stake in Sunday’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford and this could turn out to be an entertaining, fiery affair between two clubs experiencing very different seasons.

A three-leg bet builder is the play, with the first selection for City forward Omar Marmoush, who is set for a run of starts following the injury to Erling Haaland, to have two or more shots on target.

The Egyptian has had at least two shots on goal in his last two appearances, finding the back of the net in both contests, and he can be the leading light for the Citizens again.

For United, Bruno Fernandes remains their dangerman and he has tested the goalkeeper at least twice in four of his last outings in all competitions. The Portuguese can rack up another couple of efforts at goal.

Rounding off this bet builder is for City midfielder Matheus Nunes, who has been shoved in at right-back recently due to his team’s defensive issues, to commit at least one foul, something he has done in his last four appearances.
