Week 10 wraps up with a big divisional matchup in the NFC East, where the Philadelphia Eagles host the Washington Commanders. The last time these two teams played each other was in week three, where the Eagles won 24-8. These two teams are in a rich vein of form, with the Eagles remaining undefeated at 8-0, while Taylor Heinicke’s return to the team in Carson Wentz’s absence has provided the Commanders with a jolt they so desperately needed after starting 1-4, going 3-1 in their last four games. Unsurprisingly, the Eagles are big favourites for this one, but Washington has proved itself to be a gritty team in recent weeks, and will be hoping to make it tough on a Philly team that is absolutely rolling with an MVP candidate playing quarterback.
Commanders at Eagles Picks
Moneyline – Eagles
Spread – Eagles to Cover
Points Total – Over 43.5
The Eagles were completely dominant in the reverse fixture in the nation’s capital. The defence managed nine sacks and outclassed Washington’s offence and I’m expecting a similar story here. While the Commanders have been improved in recent weeks, it’s been against bad teams, and I can see Heinicke struggling a bit. Double-digit spreads are tricky to bet on, but the Eagles are just on such a roll, and I think they’ve actually been improving as the season has gone on, and should be too good for the Commanders. They’re 4-0 against the spread at home this year and have overcome some hefty spreads at the Linc already. I like the over on the points total, purely because I fancy the Eagles to do the majority of the heavy lifting on the 44 points required. The offence is humming, and playing like one of the best units in the entire league, while Washington’s is playing well enough to be able to score a few touchdowns.

Commanders at Eagles Player Prop Bets
Jalen Hurts Under 40.5 Rushing Yards – 22/25 with BetUK
Hurts hasn’t been running the ball as much in recent weeks, and it’s mostly because his team are getting out to big leads, and it’s not worth him taking any big hits. I can see this game going in a similar direction, with Miles Sanders being the biggest beneficiary.
Miles Sanders Over 68.5 Rushing Yards – 22/25 with BetUK
As mentioned above, I think Coach Sirianni and the Eagles will be getting Sanders plenty of the ball in this one, particularly once they have a clear lead. The Commanders’ rush defence is pretty poor, and Sanders has been running well and at high volumes in recent weeks.
Jalen Hurts Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns – 10/11 with 888Sport
Hurts torched the Commanders in week three for 3 touchdowns and has thrown for multiple scores in his past three games. He’s in form and putting together an MVP case, so I’m expecting his run to continue.
Dallas Goedert Over 4.5 Receptions – Evens with 888Sport
Goedert has quietly become one of Hurts’ favourite targets and has gone over this prop in four of his last five games. I feel like 5 catches against this Commanders’ defence shouldn’t be a problem for the Eagles’ tight end.
Antonio Gibson Over 24.5 Receiving Yards – 17/20 with Unibet
The Eagles’ secondary may well just be the best unit in the league, and the Washington receivers could have a really tough day. I can see the game plan for the Commanders and Heinicke to be to get it out quickly and short, which should benefit Antonio Gibson in the short passing and screen games.
