The Euro 2024 semi-final between Netherlands and England will be underway tonight at 20:00 BST in the BVB Arena in Dortmund.
Netherlands v England Predictions, Stats & News
Potential England lineup: Pickford; Walker; Guehi, Stones, Trippier, Mainoo, Rice, Saka; Foden, Bellingham, Kane.
Potential Netherlands lineup: Verbruggen; Dumfries; De Vrij; Van Dijk; Ake; Schouten; Simons; Reijnders; Malen; Depay’ Gakpo
England suffered disappointment in the European Championship final three years ago and now need to get past the Netherlands to return to the finale once again.
Both sides landed in the softer bottom half of the draw, but Ronald Koeman’s men have arguably been more impressive, beating Romania 3-0 in the round of 16 before coming from a goal down to beat Turkey 2-1 last time out.
In contrast, England needed a late Jude Bellingham equaliser to send their round of-16 clash Against Slovakia to extra-time before Harry Kane netted a winner. They followed that with a penalty shootout victory over Switzerland after conceding first again in that clash.
Either team that wins this will now face Spain the final on Sunday at 20:00 BST. Spain are the current favourites to win Euro 2024 and are expected to do if the bookmakers are anything to go off as they’re priced at under even money to lift the trophy.

Draw @ 15/8 with bet365
England’s approach under Gareth Southgate has typically been risk-averse, but that has been even more clear this tournament.
They have now drawn four games in a row in 90 minutes as they have been cautious in their approach.
Bukayo Saka’s 80th minute equaliser against Switzerland was their first shot on target and they have a lower expected goals figure than the Czech Republic, who were knocked out in the group stage.
Their approach looks unlikely to change now given the stakes of this game and another stalemate looks to be a big runner.
Four of the last eight meetings between these two teams have finished as a draw and the same is fancied here.
Harry Kane to score at any time @ 21/10 with bet365
Harry Kane has received plenty of criticism throughout this tournament, but he has still netted two of England’s five goals and has a habit of being in the right place at the right time.
The Bayern Munich man scored 44 times in 45 games for his club last season and is the Three Lions’ record goalscorer with 65 goals in 96 appearances for his nation.
That is nothing to be sniffed at and the former Tottenham man looks overpriced to get on the scoresheet in this one.
Kieran Trippier to be shown a card @ 7/2 with bet365
England’s left-hand side has been a real weakness in this tournament and, while Luke Shaw has returned from injury, it remains to be seen if he will be fit enough to start.
Kieran Trippier looks likelier to feature at left wing-back and he may be exposed defensively.
The veteran defender was caught out at times for club side Newcastle United last season and was booked five times in 26 Premier League starts.
Much of the Netherlands’ attack comes down the right flank, with Denzel Dumfries an ultra-attacking wing-back.
That could put a spotlight on Trippier’s defending on his weaker side and he is fancied to be shown a card.
