This weekend’s meeting at Old Trafford will be the 196th Manchester derby, with United and City looking to claim the local bragging rights.
It was United who snatched a dramatic late victory at the Etihad Stadium earlier in the season, but it was City that ran out 3-0 victors in this fixture last season.
Sunday’s clash kicks off at 4:30pm, with the Old Trafford encounter being shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League channels.
The Blues enjoy their trips across the city
Pep Guardiola has seen his side lose just one of their last five games at the home of the Red Devils and recent league form suggests that run could continue this weekend.
City have been a long way from their best this season, but they are still 14 points and nine places ahead of their Manchester rivals.
The Blues will be keen for revenge following that defeat back in December and United could have one eye on a more important fixture next week.
Tip 1: Manchester City to win @ 11/10 with bet365
It’s not just United’s form that is a concern going into this derby, it’s their performances at Old Trafford that will worry followers and their boss.
Ruben Amorim’s men have won just three of their last nine league games and they have lost five of their last eight on home turf.
It’s been a real struggle against teams above them in the table, with Fulham the only top-half team that the Red Devils have beaten at Old Trafford this term.
Even though City have not been impressive on the road, they have collected 10 points from a possible 18 in their last six away league games.

Tip 2: Manuel Ugarte to be booked @ 11/5 with bet365
United currently sit sixth in the Premier League yellow card standings, averaging 2.16 cautions per game so far this season and racking up 65 bookings in total.
One of the main culprits for the high position in the booking stats is Manuel Ugarte, who is likely to be handed the role of anchoring the home midfield on Sunday.
The Uruguayan has collected eight yellows in 22 league appearances and 11 cautions in total, with eight of them coming at Old Trafford.
Tip 3: Omar Marmoush to score two or more goals @ 11/1
Erling Haaland will miss the majority of the remainder of the season and, although his goal threat will be missed, Omar Marmoush looks ready to fill the void.
Having only joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January, the Egyptian star has already bagged six goals, with five of those coming in the Premier League.
It’s currently three in three for Marmoush, who followed up his goal against Brighton prior to the international break by finding the net against Bournemouth in the FA Cup and then in the 2-0 midweek win over Leicester City.
United have conceded 41 goals in their 30 league games to date and Marmoush will fancy his chances against a team who have kept just three home league clean sheets this season.
