The third edition of LIV Golf Chicago switches venues this year from Rich Harvest Farms to Bolingbrook Golf Club and there is plenty on the line this week, with the Individual Champion set to be confirmed.
LIV Chicago – Three bets for the action at Bolingbrook Golf Club
Two-time Major winner Jon Rahm and Chilean Joaquin Niemann are the only players with a chance of winning the individual award, with the Spaniard holds a slender lead of 2.97 points.
With the LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas rounding off the 2024 season next week, this trip to Chicago represents the final chance for an individual victory and the bumper prize that comes with it.

Oosthuizen to break LIV duck
With water hazards, strategic bunkering, elevated greens and rolling fairways, Bolingbrook Golf Club presents a difficult challenge but one player capable of negotiating his way around this course is Louis Oosthuizen.
Although yet to win a LIV event, the 41-year-old South African has been getting in the mix of late with his last three tournaments producing finishes of fourth, sixth and eighth.
It has been a strong end to the campaign for the 2010 Open champion, who has been better with his approach shots in the last three outings and that should help him contend here.
Oosthuizen’s short game has been in fine shape, as he ranks first in scrambling and second in putting average, and everything could come together for him in Chicago.
Niemann to take top spot
The Individual Championship is also up for grabs this week and Niemann could be the one to lift the trophy in Chicago and secure a bumper payday.
The Chilean star has won two LIV titles this year, in Mayakoba and Jeddah, and he has continued to post consistent results with a runner-up finish and three top-fives also registered.
Accuracy on approach could prove crucial here, so it bodes well that Niemann is third in greens in regulation and he can utilise his razor-sharp irons to good effect.
Smash to make it back-to-back wins
In the Team Championship, Smash GC, made up of Brooks Koepka, Talor Gooch, Jason Kokrak and Graeme McDowell, are finishing the season strongly.
Smash won the last event at Greenbrier, taking them to fourth in the overall standings and just 19.50 points behind third-place Ripper GC, the side captained by Australian Cameron Smith.
American ace Koepka claimed the title last time out, while Kokrak, Gooch and McDowell were third, 11th and 29th in that tournament, and the quartet can put in another winning performance in Chicago to boost their chances of team glory in Dallas.
