The DraftKings Sportsbook app is now available in Pennsylvania.
On Thursday, the daily fantasy sports provider turned sports betting operator DraftKings completed its online sportsbook launch in Pennsylvania.
DraftKings received approval to launch sports betting operations last week and began the testing process for its online component on Monday.
Testing for the sportsbook began on Monday 4 November and ran from 4 pm to 12 am. Testing continued on Tuesday between 2 pm and 12 am, before the final test took place on Wednesday 6 November between 12 pm and 12 am.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) was satisfied with DraftKings and gave the sportsbook clearance to operate around the clock in the Keystone State.

Sports betting enthusiasts can now download the DraftKings Sportsbook app to place sports bets, in-game wagers and take advantage of promotional offers.
DraftKings will now join FanDuel Sportsbook, Fox Bet, Parx, Rivers and SugarHouse in offering online sports betting in Pennsylvania.

DraftKings in the US betting space
In just over a year, DraftKings has transitioned from a daily fantasy sports site to a fully-fledged multi-vertical gambling operator.
DraftKings entered the US sports betting market last year when it became the first sportsbook to launch a mobile app in the state of New Jersey. DraftKings also operates the land-based sportsbook at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City. The sports betting operator also runs an online casino platform in the Garden State.
The DraftKings Sportsbook app is also available in West Virginia and in early October, DraftKings launched its mobile sports betting app in Indiana.
Last month, DraftKings became the first company to receive approval to run daily fantasy sports contests in the state of Iowa.
In New York, DraftKings runs land-based sportsbook operations at Del Lago Resort. DraftKings also runs land-based sportsbook operations in Mississippi at the Scarlet Pearl Casino in Biloxi.
