Caleb Williams Over 351.5 Passing Yards
Oregon and Bo Nix tore through Colorado’s defence last week, a unit that has been struggling all season. Caleb Williams is the likely number-one pick in the NFL Draft next year and is an even more daunting prospect for the Buffaloes. Williams will have plenty of time in the pocket due to Colorado’s lacklustre pass rush, and without Travis Hunter this Colorado secondary lacks difference-makers.
Brock Bowers Over 59.5 Receiving Yards
Bowers entered the 2023 season the top tight end in the 2024 NFL Draft, but had a slow start to the season by his standards. He averaged only 45 yards receiving across the first three games, but finally came to life last week with a 121 yards and touch touchdown performance. Auburn went out with a whimper against a struggling Texas A&M, and early indications are it’s going to be a long season for the Tigers. Georgia are already a juggernaut, but have moved the ball through the air efficiently too rather than just pounding on the ground, averaging 337 yards a game.
Blake Corum 2+ Touchdowns
Nebraska are firmly in a rebuilding phase under new Head Coach Matt Rhule, whilst Michigan are currently ranked 2nd in the country off the back of the nation’s best defence and a potent power run game. Corum hasn’t had any monster yardage totals yet, but has averaged two touchdowns a game and found the endzone seven times in the past three weeks. The Cornhuskers defence has bottled up opposing run games through the first four weeks, but Michigan consistently move the ball down the field through the air and then pound it in on the ground. Expect this trend to continue on Saturday.
Jayden Daniels Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns
Daniels has thrown for 1,296 yards through four games, best for fifth in the nation, averaging 324 yards and three touchdowns a game. Ole Miss allowed the struggling Jalen Milroe to pass for 225 yards as a struggling Alabama offence found its rhythm against the Rebels last week, and LSU boasts a much more potent attack through the air and on the ground. Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. stake a claim for the best receiving duo in the country, combining for 936 yards and ten touchdowns in just four games. The Rebels will have a tough time keeping Daniels, Nabers and Thomas Jr. out of the endzone.
