College Football Tips: Our 17/1 Bet Builder for Week 3 of the 2023 Season
We’re already in Week 3 of the college football season after some heavyweight clashes last Saturday. Texas may well be back after going into Bryant-Denny Stadium and upsetting Alabama whilst Texas A&M’s season is already unraveling following a big loss to Miami. The marquee games are lacking this week, but we still think you can find good value with the following picks.

Jordan Travis Over 221.5 Passing Yards
Depsite travelling up to Boston, it should be a reasonably comfortable outing for Travis and Florida State. He’s averaged 258.5 yards and three passing touchdowns a game so far this season, and FSU are 27.5 point favourites over Boston College. Expect the Seminoles to put up big numbers and Travis to pad the stat sheet.
Brian Thomas Jr. Over 52.5 Receiving Yards
Despite a couple of key drops in the disappointing opening game loss against FSU, Thomas Jr. went off for 142 yards in Week 1 and followed that up with 78 yards and two touchdowns in his second game. With defences homing in on Malik Nabers, Thomas Jr. is left in single coverage and has taken advantage of it so far this season. LSU travel to Mississippi State as 9.5 point favourites and should comfortably move the ball through the air.
Joe Milton Over 251.5 Passing Yards
In previous seasons, Tennessee vs Florida would be a mammoth game between two top teams. Both have been inconsistent over the past decade however, and when one team has had success, the other has been in a down year. That theme continues in 2023 as Tennessee look to build on their New Year’s Six Bowl win in 2022, whilst Florida are struggling under Billy Napier. Joe Milton has one of the biggest arms in the country and will look to exploit a Florida defence lacking in playmakers and experience.
Dylan Edwards 2+ Touchdowns
The Colorado hype train continues as we enter Week 3 of the season after the Buffaloes knocked off TCU and Nebraska to start the season. Deion Sanders, his son Shedeur and two-way star Travis Hunter have stolen the limelight, but running back Dylan Edwards has 222 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns to start the season. The Buffaloes face their easiest test of the season when they line up against Colorado State, and could pile on the points given the pre-match animosity between Deion and Head Coach of CSU Jay Norvell.
