It is time for the first north London derby of the year as Arsenal take on Tottenham in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday (KO 20:00 GMT), live on TNT Sports.
Along with surprise package Nottingham Forest, Arsenal are Premier League leaders Liverpool’s closest competition in the title race.
As for Tottenham, they have blown hot and cold all season under Ange Postecoglou, following an eye-catching EFL Cup semi-final, first-leg win over Liverpool before requiring extra-time to beat fifth-tier Tamworth in the FA Cup.
This contest is part of a full midweek top-flight schedule, with matches taking places across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Tip 1: Draw – @ 5.00 with Lottoland
Arsenal have lacked their usual attacking verve in the absence of star winger Bukayo Saka and they have drawn two of their last three matches, failing to see Manchester United off at the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup on Sunday before losing on penalties.
The Gunners have managed just four wins in their last eight matches in all competitions and there is no guarantee they will secure three points against Tottenham, who are 16 points worse off than Arsenal but typically raised their game against better opposition.
Spurs hammered Manchester City 4-0 back in November, edged out Manchester United 4-3 in the EFL Cup quarter-finals and also defeated Liverpool 1-0 in the same competition last Wednesday.
Postecoglou’s troops will not go down without a fight and this entertaining contest could end level.

Tip 2: Gabriel Martinelli to score at any time @ 2.71 with Lottoland
Kai Havertz frustrated Arsenal fans in their FA Cup clash with Manchester United, spurning several chances as his side failed to make the most of their 26 shots at the Emirates Stadium.
The German may well find himself at the forefront of Arsenal’s attack once again though, with Gabriel Jesus picking up an injury in the same game and Saka still on the sidelines.
Arsenal, therefore, need someone to step up to the plate and deliver the goals and Gabriel Martinelli could convert against Spurs.
The Brazilian was lively against the Red Devils, having had a goal chalked off for offside, and he was on target in the New Year’s Day win away to Brentford.
Tip 3: Arsenal to be shown a red card @ 9.50 with Lottoland
North London derbies always deliver drama and the card count could rise at the Emirates, with a red for the hosts worth looking at.
The reverse fixture between these sides back in September generated an eye-watering eight yellow cards, while there were seven cautions in the corresponding league meeting last term.
Arsenal lost their heads in the FA Cup loss to United at the weekend and were perhaps lucky not to pick up more than two bookings after being involved in a melee following the awarding of a penalty.
The Gunners have received a joint-high three reds in the league this season and their frustrations could boil over against their fierce rivals.
