The design could also be a bit more refined if I’m being picky, but it’s nothing major.

Fortune Coins excels in many of the most important sweepstakes casino aspects, especially in the promotions department. Even still, I wish there were some better customer support options and specific slot filters for easier navigation.

I remember checking the operator out straight after its 2022 launch and finding far fewer titles, so it’s nice to see the team behind the platform seeking out new partnerships. Back in the early days, the sweepstakes casino’s collection was almost exclusively designed in-house, but it recently added a treasure trove of slots from the likes of Pragmatic Play. 

I was really impressed by the slots library, filled with some of the best games to come out of the last few years. Notable examples include Gate of Olympus and Madame Destiny Megaways, two smash-hit online slots that are hard to find at most other sweepstakes casinos. The fish game category is also stacked with eight exciting titles passionately designed by the Fortune Coins in-house team. 

So far, so good, but I did have a few grievances as well. For example, there is a very limited number of table games to choose from, which could definitely be improved. I’d also like to see more in-depth search filters for the slots collection. Fortune Coins currently offers “Hot”, “New”, “Slots”, “Fish”, and “Jackpots” categories, but nothing for specific slot types like Megaways. Slots 

Slots make up the bulk of the Fortune Coins gaming library, with 162 options currently available, and counting! I was very impressed during my exhaustive review process, with several high-profile games available from top-spec developers.

The operator mainly had its own designed slots after the initial April 2022 launch, but Fortune Coins is an entirely different beast little more than a year on. I enjoyed some fantastic slots from the likes of Relax Gaming and Pragmatic Play, industry leaders that are rarely available at most sweepstakes sites. In fact, very few other sites can match the Fortune Coins library. BetRivers.net and Rush Games have impressive variety but don’t offer real money prize redemptions. The only sweeps operator that really comes close is Pulsz Casino. 

As I mentioned before, Fortune Coins could put slightly more effort into their slot filters and categories now that the platform has a rich library. This is minor though, especially given the quality on offer. Here are my three favorite online slots available:

• Money Train 3: I’m a huge fan of Relax Gaming’s Money Train series, and Money Train 3 is the pick of the bunch. The massive 100,000x maximum multiplier is the crowning feature, although I also love the sheer variety of bonus features, many of which trigger randomly. 

Fish 

One thing that Fortune Coins does better than pretty much any other sweepstakes site is fish games. The operator won plaudits for its Emily’s Treasure title last year, becoming one of the first multiplayer online fish tables. I was very happy to find seven other options during my most recent review exploration:

If you haven’t played fish games before, I cannot recommend them enough. Table Games 

While Fortune Coins excels with its slots and fish games library, there’s very little on offer when it comes to classical table games. I only had one option: Casino War. Bear this in mind if you’re after things like blackjack, roulette, baccarat or other casino classics, as you’ll need to look elsewhere. 

Keno & Other Options

Fortune Coins also has a handful of other options: Candy Keno, Wheel of Luck, and Funny Hunting. These games do feel like somewhat of an afterthought, but they could scratch the itch if you fancy a quick change from slots or fish.

Software Developers

Fortune Coins has formed partnerships with several leading software developers over the last year, greatly elevating its profile. It’s not often you get to play Pragmatic Play and Relax Gaming titles at a sweepstakes casino, especially one offering real money prize redemptions. 

I was pleasantly surprised with the options available, considering the operator used to only stock its own in-house titles. These in-house titles certainly aren’t bad, but being able to play classics from top-rated developers is a major plus, and helps enhance and diversify the sweeps casino’s portfolio.  

Design and User Experience

Generally speaking, the Fortune Coins user experience is relatively flawless. I had no trouble with glitchy software or failed coin purchases while playing on the platform. When there are technical difficulties, like being unable to login using your Facebook profile, the team makes sure it’s addressed on the homepage. 

I get a real community feel playing on the platform, something bolstered by the excellent 4.7 out of 5 Trustpilot score. Nevertheless, I do wish the operator had a better attitude towards its customer service options. It lacks a live chat, something I’d like to see going forwards. The support contact form is the bare minimum really, but at least the agents seem responsive, with an average response time of under 24 hours. 

Another area where the operator can potentially enhance its platform is mobile support. While the HTML5 website is perfectly optimized for smartphone screens, there isn’t currently a native mobile app. Fortune Coins takes the angle that this enables mobile gaming with no download required and is therefore more convenient. I agree in part, but I also miss app-based benefits like push notifications for promotions. 

But look, my job as an impartial reviewer is to highlight any problems, no matter how small. By and large, I’m really happy with the Fortune Coins design and user experience, apart from a few small gripes.

Elsewhere, the remarkable range of ongoing promotions meant I very rarely had to purchase extra Gold Coins, which was another major highlight. The lack of a mobile app and live chat customer support are two slight drawbacks, but they pale in comparison to this sweeps casino’s many strengths.
