The Los Angeles Dodgers fell short in the playoffs this year but had the best record in the regular season and a ridiculous run-differential of plus-334, which is why they have been instituted as the early team to beat.
There could be some changes as Clayton Kershaw, Craig Kimbrel and Trea Turner hit free agency, but the roster is still loaded.
The Dodgers have +550 odds to win it all, followed by the defending champion Astros at +600. The Atlanta Braves sit at +800 odds, while the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays are tied for the fourth-best odds at +1000.
