It’s been a topsy-turvy start to March Madness, as high seeds have been taken out by Cinderellas in regularity.
However, the oddsmakers still have fervent belief that one of the two remaining No. 1 seeds is most likely to hoist the national championship trophy.
The Alabama Crimson Tide knocked off No. 16 Texas A&M-CC and No. 8 Maryland with ease in the opening weekend, and has +330 odds to win the title, per FanDuel on March 23.
The Houston Cougars defeated No. 16 seed Northern Kentucky and No. 9 Auburn, both also by double-digits, and have +410 odds to cut down the nets at the end of March Madness.
Princeton has been the darling of the tournament by defeating No. 2 Arizona and No. 7 Missouri to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. It is the biggest longshot in the field with +15000 odds to win the championship, although an upset of No. 6 Creighton in the next round would certainly make things interesting.
