2022 Week 10 Best Bets: Rondale Moore Anytime Touchdown and Other Props for Cardinals-Rams

Major quarterback uncertainty has left us with precious few prop bets to consider for the Cardinals and Rams’ matchup on Sunday.

Kyler Murray and Matthew Stafford have anytime touchdown scorer props but nothing for passing or rushing. Same for the receivers and running backs, as the oddsmakers don’t know what kind of football game this is going to be.

So if we are forced to get creative this week, creative we shall get. Here are the three prop bets I like:

Cardinals WR Rondale Moore Anytime Touchdown (+330 at FanDuel)

Cooper Kupp has the best odds to score in this game, followed by DeAndre Hopkins and James Conner. Borrriing. I’m going with an underdog pick in Moore, and will explain why.

After a slow start to the season, Moore has finally gotten healthy and into the flow of the offense of late. He has 15 catches for 161 yards and a touchdown in his past two games, at last becoming the weapon the Cardinals have envisioned.

Moore is still getting his share of bubble screens and gadget rush attempts, but he’s also starting to run more true receiver routes, to great results. If Murray plays, the chemistry has grown enough in recent weeks that I believe Moore will be an attractive target throughout the game, and he has the athleticism to get into the end zone from close or far away.

And if Colt McCoy is the quarterback, coach Kliff Kingsbury could ramp up the quick game even more, which should involve Moore heavily. This is an enticing underdog play.

You could also sprinkle some money on Moore to be the last touchdown scorer at +1400 odds, as the Cardinals may be trying to rally late.

First Score On or After Seven Minutes Elapsed: Yes (-110 at DraftKings)

The Cardinals have been notoriously slow out of the gate this year on offense. Their defense, on the other hand, has given up early scores with regularity, but could have the benefit of facing the Rams without Stafford.

Arizona enters this game No. 30 in offensive efficiency and now Murray could be slowed by a hamstring injury, if he plays. The Rams were ranked No. 26 on offense before the Stafford injury.

Additionally, both teams have serious health and personnel issues on the offensive line, and all it takes is one sack to derail a drive. I foresee a defensive battle and no points before seven minutes has elapsed.

One more helpful detail: Arizona coach Kliff Kingsbury goes for it on fourth-and-short a lot, and if he does so in field goal range, that’s a big boost because it keeps three points off the board and the clock ticking.

Rams K Matt Gay under 2.5 point after attempts made (-160)

The tea leaves sure seem to be pointing to John Wolford playing quarterback. If it’s Stafford then this bet loses some of its value, but either way, Los Angeles is far from an offensive juggernaut this season.

Gay has only made three extra points or more in two of eight games this season. The Cardinals don’t have a very good defense but it has been better lately and I don’t think it gets shredded in this one.

These are the same odds as the ones listed for the Rams to go over 2.5 touchdowns, but there is no reason to choose that. Gay could miss an extra point, Los Angeles could go for two, or he could get injured early in the game, which gives multiple ways for this bet to win even if the Rams do find the end zone three times.

This week’s prop bets record: 1-2
Overall: 52-43
