2022 NFL Betting Preview: Hollywood Brown Receiving Yards and Two Other Prop Bets for Cardinals-Eagles

The Arizona Cardinals have the home field advantage on Sunday, but they are still significant underdogs in a matchup against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition to picking the game against the spread, here are my three favorite prop bets for the matchup:

Cardinals WR Hollywood Brown over 60.5 receiving yards (-115)

Plenty of people will be scared away from this bet because of Darius Slay, who put the clamps on Justin Jefferson in Week 2 and is one of the better cornerbacks in the NFL. But Brown had high expectations upon entering Arizona and has exceeded those, entering the contest No. 8 in the NFL in receiving.

Hollywood Brown is eighth in the NFL in receiving yards (339) and fourth in receptions (30) after four games.

He is the lone elite skill player the Cardinals have on offense while DeAndre Hopkins is suspended, and quarterback Kyler Murray has thrown his way 39 times over the past three games. The Cardinals need Brown to have a big game, and the targets will be there for him to reach 60 receiving yards after surpassing it in each of the past three outings.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders over 14.5 rushing attempts (-125)

The Eagles are one of the best rushing teams in the NFL and should rely on it plenty in this game. Sanders had 27 carries for 134 yards and two touchdowns last week against the Jaguars, further cementing himself as one of the NFL’s most potent running backs.

Jalen Hurts will get his fair share of carries, but there will be plenty available for Sanders. Arizona’s run defense is not very good so the Eagles should be able to rack up the first downs, and the rushing attempts.

Eagles WR A.J. Brown under 76.5 receiving yards (-115)

Brown has been unbelievably efficient through four games, averaging 16.2 yards per catch and 10.6 yards per target. He is an elite player and a big-play machine, but it’s hard to keep up that type of dominance every week.

The Cardinals have a suspect cornerback group but the safety duo of Budda Baker and Jalen Thompson can help eliminate deep throws. Jalen Hurts doesn’t always throw the ball a bunch, and I think Brown has a good, but not great, game against the Cardinals.
