Launched in 2022, Bingo Stars is a new bingo site brought to UK customers by Dazzletag Entertainment — a leading operator responsible for popular brands such as Casushi and Fruit Kings.

In this Bingo Stars review, I’ll be combing through information regarding Bingo Stars’ welcome offer, as well as any other critical factors players consider before joining a new site. From bingo rooms to customer support options, I’ll cover everything in detail before offering an honest assessment of the site’s pros and cons.

I’ve summarised those pros and cons in a short list underneath the table below, so if you’re looking to make a quick decision on whether Bingo Stars is for you, take a look at that list.

  • Huge games library — As well as excellent bingo options, players also have access to well over 2,000 casino games covering slots, live dealer and table classics.

  • Community atmosphere — Bingo Stars endeavours to provide a truly welcoming bingo environment, with chat room hosts visible across the site.

  • Wagering requirements — Bingo Stars’ welcome bonus comes with 4x wagering on the bingo bonus, and 40x wagering on the free spins bonus.
  • No ongoing promotions — During my review, there were no ongoing promotions for returning players.
  • No mobile app — But mobile players can still play on the go in their browsers.

Bingo Stars’ Sign-Up Offer Explained

When new players at Bingo Stars deposit and spend their first £10, they’ll receive 20 free spins to use on Eyecon’s Fluffy Favourites slot. Compared to other sites such as Sky Bingo, it’s not the most generous offer I’ve seen, but that’s to be expected for a new site still finding its market.

The free spins gives players a decent mix of two playing formats. The free spins are valued at 25p each too, which is significantly higher than the standard of 10p.

Bingo Stars’ Sign-Up Offer Terms and Conditions

As with all bonuses, Bingo Stars’ new customer offer comes with a series of terms and conditions that players will need to be conscious of in order to make a success of the bonus. Here’s a breakdown of the most important T&Cs related to this welcome offer:

  • Wagering requirements — The Bingo Stars sign-up bonus comes with two sets of wagering requirements: 4x on the bingo side of things, and 40x on free spins winnings. So, depositing the minimum amount of £10 would require players to wager a further £40 before they could withdraw any bonus bingo winnings. Wagering requirements on the free spins applies to any winnings generated by those spins.
  • Minimum deposits — The Bingo Stars welcome offer comes with a minimum deposit of £10.
  • Payment restrictions — Only deposits made via debit card or Trustly will be eligible to access the Bingo Stars welcome bonus.
  • Time limits — The bingo bonus will expire 30 days after being credited to your account. Free spins will expire after 48 hours.
  • Winning caps — Players can only win a maximum of £250 from the Bingo Stars welcome offer.
  • Game restrictions — Placing a wager on any live casino, table game, instant or slingo will forfeit welcome bonus funds. Bingo Stars will offer a warning when players load an ineligible game with bonus funds in their wallet.

Other Promotions

I was disappointed to see that Bingo Stars wasn’t offering any ongoing promotions for existing players. This is one of the best ways in which bingo sites can foster loyalty and incentivise players to return to the site, so I’d like to see this bulked out in future.

Aside from the welcome offer, the only other promotion available was participation in Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins slots tournaments. Players open themselves up to huge potential prizes when they enrol, but it’s a promotion found at many other sites, so Bingo Stars can definitely work harder here.

Bingo Stars does say that they’ll offer exclusive promotions to players based on account activity, but I’m not in a position to be able to judge the quality of these.

Rewards and Loyalty Programme

Bingo Stars doesn’t currently offer a rewards or loyalty points programme.

Bingo Stars Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

Bingo Stars players have a choice of four depositing options: debit cards, PayPal, Paysafecard and Trustly. It’s a decent mix of options that covers e-wallets, prepaid cards and bank transfer systems, as well as the trusty debit card.

Minimum deposits are set at £10 for all payment options, and the same minimum amount is also applied to withdrawals. Withdrawals can be made via all methods with the exception of Paysafecard, which is a deposit-only option.

Bingo Stars withdrawal times are identical across the board, landing in your chosen account in a maximum of five working days. Although this timeframe might cause alarm for some players, the reality is that Bingo Stars will return the majority of withdrawals much faster than this.

Our Verdict

As a new bingo site, I’d say that Bingo Stars hasn’t quite yet nailed the online bingo experience, but it’s certainly off to a good start. What’s most impressive is that it could exist as an online casino in its own right, with well over 2,000 games to keep players entertained on top of its bingo offering.

I like that the Bingo Stars sign-up bonus covers both free bingo tickets and free spins, but the wagering requirements attached to both are a little disappointing — particularly on the bingo side, where bonuses are usually free of conditions like these.

I also like the emphasis on community spirit, which has always been a cornerstone of the bingo experience. This is underpinned by Bingo Stars’ championing of its chat room hosts, who’ll bring a friendly energy every time you play.

There’s definitely room for improvement though. I’d like to see more promotions offered to returning players, particularly given that the Star Bingo games library is so vast. The development of a native app would also enhance this site, but perhaps this is in the pipeline.

If you think the positives outweigh the negatives at Bingo Stars, click through using our links, sign up, and collect your bingo tickets and free spins.
