Brighton to Win @ 3/4
It’s a clash of the Albions as West Brom travel to the south coast to take on Brighton in what is only the 5th meeting between the clubs in the last 27 years. All of those 4 previous meetings have come in the last 3 years and Brighton have only lost 1 of them, with 2 wins and a draw. And they should be confident of extending that record, as their visitors are one of only 4 teams yet to win in the Premier League this season. Slaven Bilic’s West Brom side have clearly struggled with the step up in quality since arriving from the Championship and have only managed to take 2 points from a possible 14 so far. The Baggies also have the joint-worst defence in the league, having conceded 13 goals in their 5 games, with 7 of those goals coming in their 2 away matches. They’ve got a pitiful record on the road stretching back to their last season in the top flight in 2017/18, having only won 3 of their last 20 Premier League away matches. Brighton have struggled themselves of late, but may have performed better than their results would suggest. They’ve only won 1 of their last 7 Premier League home matches, but have faced tough opposition in Arsenal, Manchester United (twice), Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea in that time, and they’ll be hoping to put that nightmare run in the past with a win here. The Seagulls are 3/4 to come out on top in this one with Coral.
